About
Product consultant and data solutions architect helping startups and growing businesses build better products and smarter data foundations.
Pramod Siddabattuni
I am a product consultant and data solutions architect with over 20 years of experience designing, building, and delivering products and data platforms across enterprise technology, financial services, healthcare, energy, and life sciences.
I grew up in India, and my career has taken me across some of the world’s most complex technology environments — from large-scale enterprise programmes at Dell Technologies, Cognizant, MetLife, Aetna, Gilead Sciences, and Elexon, to the faster, less structured world of startups and growing businesses where the same rigour needs to be applied with far less resource.
After two decades working inside large organisations, I made the move to independent consulting for three reasons. I wanted to work across a wider range of industries and problems. I wanted more autonomy over how I work and where I focus my energy. And I saw a genuine gap: startups and scale-ups need the kind of senior product and data expertise that large enterprises take for granted — but most cannot afford to hire it full-time. An advisory model makes that expertise accessible without the overhead.
I am now focused on helping founders and growing teams build products people actually use, and the data infrastructure to keep improving them.
How I think and work
I am a systems thinker. Before I recommend anything, I want to understand how the pieces connect — how a product decision affects the data model, how an analytics gap connects back to a process problem, how an AI use case depends on infrastructure that may not exist yet.
That approach comes from spending years working on large, complex programmes where a change in one layer of a system could break something three layers away. I learned to read the whole picture before touching any part of it.
In practice, that means I ask a lot of questions before I offer solutions. I am detail-oriented to the point where I will notice the thing your team has normalised and stopped seeing. And I am hands-on — I do not just advise. I write specs, review designs, build frameworks, and work through the hard decisions alongside you.

Where I have worked
My enterprise career spans some of the largest and most demanding technology environments in the world. I have held roles across product ownership, data engineering, solutions architecture, and delivery leadership — often simultaneously.
Dell Technologies
Product Owner, Applied Data Science & Engineering. Led the design and build of a real-time telemetry and AI platform for warranty cost-out, including a Next Best Action engine and the foundations for agentic AI workflows across the Services division.
Cognizant Technology Solutions
Delivery and technical leadership across Aetna, MetLife, Cummins, Crawford & Company, and Gilead Sciences. Roles spanned offshore development lead, onsite coordinator, and module lead — across data warehousing, BI, application development, and enterprise integration.
Elexon & FSCS
Onsite delivery lead for major technology re-platforming and data integration programmes in UK energy and financial services. Led distributed offshore teams through complex, multi-workstream programmes on critical national infrastructure.
I work with the tools your team already uses. On the product and design side: Figma. On the data and engineering side: Python, SQL, dbt, Tableau, Power BI, Looker, Snowflake, BigQuery, Informatica, and Talend. On the AI side: TensorFlow, the OpenAI API, and the surrounding data infrastructure that makes models actually work in production.
Let’s talk about what you’re building.
If you are a founder or team lead working through a product or data challenge, I would like to hear about it. Most engagements start with a single honest conversation.
